Mexican Muralism: Where Are the Women
As the art historical canon has focused solely on the careers and contributions of the three greats of Mexican Muralism, I offer an insightful look at the ways in which Mexican women muralists resisted narratives of fear and created works that gave people hope. In this presentation I explore the ideas of agency and resilience of the women artists who never got the recognition they deserved in life.
Playing with PayPlaying with Pay is a session that will cover topics regarding limiting beliefs, and the urgency of pay transparency. Through practical examples, attendees will become familiarized with strategies to negotiate and become better advocates for themselves. Participants will become better acquainted with resources to learn about a healthy relationship with money including pay transparency.
